Weslee was born and raised in San Diego and spent the majority of her childhood in Coronado graduating from CHS in 2001.  Shortly after high school she enrolled in Cosmetology school where she realized that her true passion lied in the skin care industry.   She chose to go the Med Spa route because she was truly into changing skin concerns.  Weslee  was quickly promoted to Lead Spa Therapist and played a large role in expanding the medical esthetics offered at the Med Spa.  Thanks to the position she held there, Weslee was able to gain a larger understanding in all things skin from the medical aspect as well as items under her scope of practice.  During this time, she decided to branch off on her own and developed Island Aesthetics.  Suffering from adult on set acne herself, Weslee chose to focus on problematic skin as her specialty and has since branched out into mature and sensitive skin.  Within the past year Weslee has gained a vast knowledge concerning Oncology patients as her Mother was diagnosed with stage four cancer.  She was able to witness the changes in skin as well as understand the contraindications associated with certain medications and treatments for Cancer.  She is very proud to carry Hale and Hush which has specific products specifically tailored to those undergoing cancer treatment.  Weslee believes in taking time with each and every client to insure she is aware of all aspects of their skin health so that she is able to treat appropriately.
